Brocade Fibre Channel Switches#

Overview#

The ML Pack for Brocade Fibre Channel Switches uses dual collection: SNMP (for metrics such as system performance, sensors, FC ports, SFPs, trunks, ISLs) and SSH (for connectivity discovery). It monitors FC port attributes and remote device relationships. As connectivity is the main focus, high-frequency polling is not required.

Configuration#

Go in Configuration Management.

Click on the + button to add a new configuration.

Select the template Brocade Fibre Channel Switches (to enable SNMP polling) and Brocade SSH (to enable SSH polling). Select the Collector on which you want this configuration to be deployed; and provide a Configuration Name that is meaningful for you. The Description is optional.

In the template, enter the correct settings for your device(s). Other configuration options are possible. Browse the template to discover them.

Once done, click Apply to start the monitoring.
